So far, not even a raindrop in the DC metro area! But let's all get ready for snowstorm bingo on tonights' news; see if you can spot these videos! #1 a reporter standing by the side of a major highway with a yardstick/ruler to measure the snow; #2 people at the grocery store buying bread, milk, and TP, and people at Home Depot or wherever buying shovels, salt, etc.; #3 interviews with snowplow drivers and film of the trucks loading up with salt/sand; #4 cute kids and/or dogs out in the snow

Yep, you are so right. They'll probably have to rely on re-runs due to the utter lack of enough snow for the story to be convincing.

I still think Mother Nature is going to hit us with a BIG "gotcha" before winter is over. I've even heard some forecasters were re-thinking their forecasts for winter to include more snow. I'm not saying I want another snow like 2010, but I personally would like one good snow that at least covers the grass! (yes, I know, many of you don't like the stuff; it'll be summer with the usual hazy, hot, and humid forecast before you know it)
