As someone who loves cold weather, I'm trying to comfort myself with the fact that autumn is only 6 months away. AND maybe this year we'll actually HAVE an autumn and winter? (and not with temperatures more fitted to autumn in Miami, either)
As a lifetime local resident, this seems kind of normal. Some years are like this, some are not. It comes in cycles. 19 years ago, we had a blizzard.
What really is annoying, however, is the inaccuracy seen in some reporting. Last night on the ABC evening news (from NY) the talked about early cherry blossoms, but showed a beautiful picture of deciduous magnolias blossoms. Magnolias usually bloom before the cherry trees.
