Yeah...whatever. They can't predict this crap this far in advance! Take it with a grain of salt folks.
Considering that the hurricane season hasn't "officially" started yet and there's already been 1 tropical storm in the Atlantic and there's a hurricane in the Pacific, I think we can throw any definition of "normal season" out the widow.
Wait a minute. NOAA has been right in the past. Okay but just a couple of times and after re-evaluating or increasing the number a time or two. What did they do this time, spin the magic wheel? There are so many things that effect our weather that they are just guessing. Some run in cycles of a few years, 13 years, 26 years, 100s of years or even thousands of years, then there are random events. There is only a 50/50 chance of them being right, either they are or they are not. This is like predicting a sunny July 4th of 2012.
