Clean, crisp fresh Northern Air! So much better than the dirty, stale, humid Southern Air.

Yes, I did think about how similar the weather was today to 11 years ago. Unfortunately, most of us remember a lot about that day. I was at work for an International Company and they were from Holland here for a convention and could not get home. We put them up with us in our homes for a few days until they could get out of the country to return home, and the weather was exactly like this. Another thought, the weather seems to follow an 11 year pattern, while not exact, if that is true, this would be another mild winter and the summer of 2013 would be like 2002, which was a drought year and a scorcher. So, if it follow this pattern and with next year being the height of current solar activity, I wonder if the very hot, drought summer might not come true for us, the way it did in 1980, 1991, and 2002, and they are all in that 11 year cycle with 2013. With getting to Nadine in the Atlantic, too, this is looking more doubtful as an El Nino winter, maybe a neutral winter, which we had in 2001-02, and it could be a 2nd winter of mild weather and little snow. The interesting thing to watch would be the winter of 2013-14, and if it will be like 2002-03, which really was severe and dumped snow and lots of it in our area. Weather here is always interesting.

I was also thinking yesterday how similiar the weather was to 9-11. Such a beautiful, bright clear morning, made you feel good to be alive. And I remember later in the day, seeing the fighter jets streaking through the beautiful blue skies...
