    The are you circled on the SST map was the Tropic of Cancer. The El Nino Region 3.4 is much further south (hint: along the equator). If Bob Ryan predicts a below normal snowfall... DC will get hammered.

    You have a lot of technical information, but do not get to the meat of the question as to whether or not we will have an easier or harder winter or a big storm. And I don't see you answering those questions. Apparently, weather is weather, whether you can predict it ahead of time or not. Get a new crystal ball.
