    Im really scared what will the winds be like in oxon hill? 70+ or lower? or can you tell right now?

    OK, why is Accuweather showing gusts for Mon/Tue between 70-87mph? Why are these ranges not being advised about on other weather services? Will Arlington/DC area experience wind gusts above 70mph? What model is Accuweather basing this information off of, is it accurate or hype? Those are SERIOUSLY concerning numbers, of which WJLA and/or no other weather service have posted to be likely, why such a huge difference?

    With Sandy moving into DMV area, should all windows remain closed tight or leave some cracked????

    I'm with WeatherGuy. I saw the same thing and have been wondering the same thing. That's a huge difference from what the local channels are telling us. I'm also seeing differences between the Weather Channel info, Accuweather, and again the local channels. Which do we believe??? Which do we prepare for??? For me it will determine whether we and the bedridden person I care for can stay in her room or we all need to sleep in an unfinished basement. Any info would be appreciated!

    Dose not matter ere the eye land were honing to have a lot of rain to 50- 75 gust for two days
