...as Climate Change! ... dumb Republicans.
As as Conservative, I say that there IS climate change happening since the Earth has its natural up and down cycles on temperature. Climate change is NOT for the reasons liberals try to claim (unnatural human influence).
You absolutely have to be kidding me....Idiot.
No he is not kidding you and he is far from an idiot. All scientific evidence proves that the earth has normal temperature fluctuations. In fact some quite severe. There are desserts that used to be lush rain forests laden with flora and fauna. So be careful whom you call an idiot. It just may uncover the real one.
Wait .... you say that the original poster is right (that there is no such thing as climate change), but you go on to cite examples of climate change, and say that science proves there IS such a thing as climate change? Wow. It looks like there are two idiots posting here. Were you ever dropped on your head as a kid?
Ah oh the world is coming to and end! Quick everyone put your head between your legs and kiss your azz goodbye! LOL
Senator James Inhofe, ranking minority member of the Committee on Environment, knows that this is a bunch of crap. You should read his book, "The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future". As a Senator who makes decisions about environmental policy I'm sure he knows what he is talking about. Show your support for him by posting on his face book page. I'm sure he will be glad to hear from you.
Climate means change. This is not a political discussion, but a scientific one. Please do not get into a liberal versus conservative debate on this. A few decades, even a century, or so, is a miniscule increment in the temperature calendar of the earth. Deriving conclusions from a few decades of temperature change is like determining the average speed and acceleration of a car traveling from DC to NY, based on only a few yards of travel up I-95.
I wish that it was only a scientific problem, but the Republican party, unfortunately, has made it a political problem. They have assigned as their top environmental policy maker someone (Inhofe) who has not only written a book calling climate change a fraud, but continually appears on television and radio expressing his views that the whole notion of climate change is nothing more than fraud by greedy scientists looking for government dollars. WJLA has even covered several of his protests, such as ones where he get's his family (wife and children) to stand beside a snowbank in DC with signs making fun of global warming (you can see the pics on his facebook page. WJLA should still have video of their coverage). This is the guy who the Republican party says best represents their views on global climate change. Republican outlets like the various fox news shows, clear channel radio, bloggers, and others like Glenn Beck, all back this up, and attack (politically) scientists who discuss global climate change. So yeah, it really is a political problem, and a pretty serious problem.
Good post Outpost. The people that are making these claims will be long dead to ever find out the end result of what's really going on with the earth' climate.
