ABC7, WJLA-TV / NewsChannel 8 in Washington, DC has an immediate opportunity for an DESIGNER/ANIMATOR, to create on-air animations/graphics primarily for daily news plus some promotion, and special projects. Must possess strong proficiency in a variety of software applications, including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Deko and Curious Map. Must be a proven talent able to deliver creative and innovative design solutions in a fast-paced environment. Print design talent a plus, but not essential. Must demonstrate strong, positive inter-personal and communication skills that contribute to a team effort. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Must possess obvious design talent, an art education background (college degree preferred), and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a broadcast or video design environment.
