WJLA-TV is seeking a qualified meteorologist to present radio weather reports for our editorial partners at WTOP Radio.
Successful candidate must have strong communication skills and several years of broadcast experience. BS in Meteorology or related science required.
Employee must be able to work mornings, days, nights and weekends when needed. Radio weathercasting is the primary duty but the employee will also be called upon to assist in web operations writing forecasts and blogs. Some very occasional television weathercasting on ABC7 or NewsChannel 8 may be required from time to time.
