WJLA-TV is looking for a full-time special projects field producer to help turn a variety of news stories with the focus on hard-hitting investigative reports. Applicant should have strong news judgment, proven proficiency in document and data reporting, knowledge of government operations, be able to develop a network of news sources, conduct interviews, and write and turn news stories on deadline for all news platforms. In this position, the special projects producer will be called on to independently develop story ideas and work on long-term research projects.

Key Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have at least five years of broadcast news reporting or special projects/newscast producing experience. A college degree in journalism or another pertinent field is required.
