WJLA-ABC7 News has an opening for a full-time writer/producer. Primary responsibility is to write news copy and to assist newscast producers, as needed, in putting together a quality product on deadline. Writer/producer will also have a regular opportunity to produce newscasts on a back-up basis.
A successful candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of prior daily newscast line-producing experience in a medium market. Must be available to work for any newscast, including overnights and weekends. College degree is required.
