WJLA-TV is looking for an experienced line producer to work in our dynamic and fast-paced newsroom. The producer will work in conjunction with an aggressive assignment desk and team of reporters and managers to create a newscast that incorporates breaking news and the latest developments in a clear and responsible manner following the highest journalistic standards. A successful candidate must demonstrate sound editorial judgment, have excellent writing skills, know how to effectively tease and showcase, have strong communications skills to smoothly manage the control room, and a temperament that can handle deadline pressure. The producer should also be very versed in providing content for multiple platforms. Only experienced line producers with at least five years of current experience in a mid to large television market will be considered for this position.

Key Qualifications:

A college degree in journalism or another pertinent area of study is required
