Chuck Brown Music Pavilion set to open in summer
In a few months, the Chuck Brown Music Pavilion will open its doors to residents and visitors. The performing arts venue will make a home in the already existing Langdon Park off 20th and Franklin Streets in Northeast.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc celebrates centennial in D.C.
Throughout the weekend, some 12,000 sorors will celebrate Delta Sigma Theta's centennial at the Washington Convention Center. The sorority's 22 founders established the first chapter on Jan. 13, 1913 at Howard University.
