A man was found shot to death Saturday morning in Northeast. Police were called to the 2,200-block of 15th Street, NE just after 5:30 a.m. where they discovered a man's body lying along the sidewalk.

Officers say 26-year-old Christopher Donte Lattimore from D.C., was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body but later died on scene.

Ho hum.. it's a daily thing. I hate to read of all the crime deaths but unfortunately it will roll on until the death penalty is utilized. Some would say it's cruel to kill a murderer but look at it from the victim's perspective. A thug kills you and he gets off with little punishment., and his actions are reinforced because he's not properly punished... some are out in months.. is that fair? No.. D.C is a place to die in I say.. not to live in..
