Collins' Future With Redskins Uncertain
posted 12:05 pm Mon January 07, 2008 - Ashburn, Va.
Now that the season is over for the Redskins, the future of quarterback Todd Collins becomes a major question. Despite not having started a game in 10 years, the 36-year-old veteran played well during the four-game winning streak that got the team to the post-season.
He is slated to become a free agent and must decide whether he wants to return in what would likely again be a backup role to Jason Campbell, who missed the final four games with a knee injury.
Collins says he'd like to have an opportunity to play, and he says he thinks he can still contribute and help teams win.
