A man who took a loaded handgun to Baltimore's airport during the summer has pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation.
Thomas Sackie of Falls Church, Virginia, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court to having a handgun on his person without a permit.

Sackie had no previous criminal record and was sentenced to probation before judgment.
He was also ordered by a judge to forfeit the weapon, a 9 millimeter Glock 17.
Charging documents say Sackie was walking with his daughter near the D Pier at BWI Marshall Airport when a Transportation Security Administration officer noticed "a bulge on his hip that would indicate a firearm." The weapon was loaded with three magazines, each containing 16 rounds.
