I cannot believe this news. Mr. McGuire is a nice guy. I have not had any classes with him, but have talked to him a few times. Gosh, this is unreal.

I actually had Matt last year for my final high school spanish class. I can honestly say that I saw this coming. I always noticed that he was very personal with a lot of the females that took his class. I even heard about him text messaging a female student. (What about, I don't really know) It sucks though because he was a pretty solid teacher, but I condemn what he has done and I hope justice prevails.

Mopar, Sorry I'm middle age now...can't blow the whistle on these jerks. However I heard that after I left Jr. High School, the teacher that offered me drugs was busted for inappropriate behavior with another one of his female students. I never reported either incident. When you are 12 years old and going up against an adult you fear the repercussions. I have two daughters, the oldest in middle school and believe me, I am telling her to report anything that makes her feel uncomfortable or that she considers inappropriate behavior from a teacher - male or female!

Good God rho here's your chance! Blow the whistle on these educators and most importantly the teacher that offered you drugs and sex! Is it possible these teachers are still in the school system??? I'm assuming not, but you never know... This proves once again these people have college degrees and are probably excellent teachers but don't have a damn bit of common sense! I think they call them educated FOOLS. If found guilty, make an example out of Mr. McGuire and put him under the jail! i just can't believe some educators or anyone for that matter is STUPID enough to break the law electronically, everything these days can be tracked down to your keystrokes...

Guesswhat, you're absolutely right. As early as jr. high I had a male teacher offer me marijuana and told me he'd teach me about making love. In high school it was common knowledge that several of the women teachers slept with the boys and one of them even lived with a friend of mine - so I know this to be factual. This has been going on forever, it just wasn't reported.

This has been going on for years, we just didn't have the internet back then that can be used as a fish net.

Just how many weirdo's do we have in school these days teaching.. man.. I can't count that high? LOL..

Another example of why FxCo teachers need another pay raise: to afford better security on their computers.

Wow... I'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm really not.

I had Matt McGuire as a teacher as a freshman in highschool at Chantilly and I knew him through track and field all 4 years as well. We had remained in touch through college and I even had him write a letter of recommendation for me as I graduated high school and went on to college. He was always such a nice person... yet at the same time there was always this underlying inuendo in much conversation. A little inappropriate for 14-18 year olds, but we always brushed it off. Nonetheless, I had always respected him.

Beyond that... I'm speechless.

I don't understand why some adults are sexually attracted to children.
