O'Malley Promotes College Tuition Initiative

Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley plans to talk about an initiative to make college tuition more affordable Monday.
In his first year, O'Malley made a priority out of stopping significant tuition increases students have had to grapple with in recent years.
However, not everyone in Annapolis thinks Maryland colleges can keep tuition from rising.
Senate President Mike Miller said last week that colleges need to be able to raise tuition.
O'Malley also is scheduled to make an announcement Monday about a homeownership initiative.
It's the third in a series of events O'Malley has scheduled to present his legislative agenda and budget priorities for the 2008 legislative session, which began last week.
