Metro Delays Continue Over Holiday

Metro says major platform repairs at Metro Center are causing delays of at least 30 minutes on the Red, Orange and Blue lines. Metro Center remains open but trains on all three lines are sharing a track between stations.
The delays will last through the day.
Meanwhile, the entire rail system will operate on a modified Saturday schedule because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Took me over an hour this past Saturday to get from Metro Center to PG Plaza Metro station - so why are "major delays" considered news, anymore? Just business as usual....
