they?re going to pay kids to do what they?re supposed to do???!!! I have two college degrees and work two jobs, have never been arrested, pay my taxes religiously, obey the traffic laws most of the time, and have never been a danger to myself or society...I want a lot of money for being such a good citizen.

It's just a primer for the business or athletic world of cash rewards and bonuses for performance. Who are the role models ?....the ones with bling or the ones who tried but ended up living in a cardboard box ?

I cannot believe even Balmer would do this. This is the pits and what a shame for those who sincerely work and study to do good. Sad state of affairs but nothing should surprise me anymore.

So, instead of setting standards and teaching them that hard work and perseverence is EXPECTED and will pay off in the long run, they're offering cash? Brilliant idea.........NOT! Next these kids will expect cash just for getting out of bed and showing up at school. And I'm sure Balmer will give it to them.
