Having been tasered, I can say that these weapons are non-lethal. They hurt like a son of a gun, but once it stops there is no pain. If you don't put yourself in that situation you won't get that pain. Usually death occurs if someone is high on a narcotic or have some sort of physical ailment that would cause their death anyhow. If you consider the percentage of people who are tasered and die versus the number who are tasered and have no ill effects, the statistics would point you to believe that it is no greater than a noramal death statistic from either natural or accidental causes.

I'd rather the police use the taser than their guns. If they miss with their guns someone else might get hurt or killed. I agree with egod. If you don't put yourself in a situation where an officer has to make a decision, you don't have to worry about it. When you fight and/or commit a criminal act, what do you expect a police officer to do, cheer.

The savages try and blame their action on the authorities, the guy that died was a criminal. Do not act like a criminal and you will not get tased. What if the cop had not taser and the guy attacked the cop and took his gun and shot people?

I've never been arrested....it's not that hard to avoid.

"We've all seen the shows on TV, and they're hurting people. That's excessive." Hmmmmm.

Quick notes to self; -Read between the lines of what you see on TV. -Don't act like an imbecile and require the police to come baby-sit you. -If it's gotten to the point where a cop is telling you to do something -try doing it.

That should make life a little less painful. *ZZZAAAAAAAPPPPP*
