Prettyboy, I also have a VA CHP....If you passed me on the street, you would never know it.

I went through the training and background checks so that I can protect the lives of my loved ones when the Police aren't around.......NOT to be a wanna-be COP or crime fighting super hero whose job is to eradicate all the evil punks who would dare cross my path..

I will not Pop a Cap in 'Em, or Plow 'Em, or Drop 'Em in their tracks.

I will however, use all means necessary to STOP an identified threat to protect my life or the lives of those in my care.

All the keyboard bravado is just playing into the hands of the "The Cops will protect us from the bad guys" crowd (Sarah Brady and company) who want to "Get all the evil guns out of (what they feel are) the wrong hands"......Ours.

Shovelhead all I can say is this to you and anyone else out there who is attacked. I have a permit to carry a gun. I got it back right after the 911 attacks. I would lay down my life and for some scum to up and come up to me and my family and begin beating me I would take deadly action to stop such threats. What am I to do just stand there and let some sleazy punk take swings at me or my family? Hell no.. I would plow em..

If (and I hope you never HAVE to) you find the need to use your weapon in self defense, the punk's attorney will have a slam dunk case against the "Trigger Happy" citizen who injured his client.....all he'll need to show the jury are posts like those.

We all just need to hug the youth a little more. Sit down with them and share in a wholesome MTV program. Maybe sit down together for dinner and sing-along with the latest thug-killa-homie-pimpjuice-playa anthem. Share a Saturday just clocking the ho's together. Then maybe they won't be so angry. Let's ask Hillary what we should do.

Hey Shovelhead.. I know those remarks were directed at me and it's okay for you to express your opinion and it's equally okay for you to know my intentions. If I felt threatened (and anyone punching me in the face or my family denotes this) I will protect my rights and the safety of my family and well.. my only mistake in making this post is that I wouldn't wait until they turned around.. case closed here for me... and yes I wouldn't heistate pulling the trigger..we need more citizens to go after the scum.. the police CANNOT PROTECT US ANYMORE.
