Teen Dies in Bethesda-Area Crash

An 18-year-old teen died in an early morning single vehicle crash in Bethesda.
Montgomery County authorities say, around 5:30 a.m., David Winston Wilmot II was driving a 2001 Jaguar along Bradley Boulevard towards Wilson Lane when he lost control and struck a tree before the car came to rest in a nearby yard.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted by the State Medical Examiner's office in Baltimore.
Investigators believe black ice may have been a factor.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 301-840-2435.
No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
