Clinton Rallies at Arlington High School
posted 2:18 pm Thu February 07, 2008 - Arlington, Va.
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is visiting Arlington Thursday, as presidential hopefuls turn their attention to the Chesapeake Primary. Clinton will stop by Washington-Lee High School Thursday afternoon to talk with students and hold a rally.
"It's Great," said Washington-Lee Student Brandon Whestaff. "I'm gonna be there and I'm going to listen to what she says.
"I think it's good," said Washington-Lee Staffer Deborah Stoll, who remains undecided in the race. "I think it's good for the kids to see an actual political campaign in action."
The visit indicates just how important the District, Maryland and Virginia have become in the nomination process, as Clinton scrambles for votes along with her rival, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL).
There are nearly 240 delegates up for grabs in the Chesapeake Primary on Tuesday, about 10 percent of the delegates needed to secure the nomination.
