Candidates Focus on Chesapeake Primary

Supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign will rally outside the Maryland State House in Friday. Governor Martin O'Malley and Senator Barbara Mikulski are scheduled to headline the event.
Clinton is campaigning in the Pacific Northwest and isn't planning to attend the rally.
Clinton and Illinois Senator Barack Obama are running a close campaign heading into the Chesapeake Primaries.
D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty is opening a new Obama campaign office in the Eastern Market neighborhood of Southeast Friday.
Both Clinton and Obama will address Virginia's annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner fundraiser on Saturday night in Richmond.
Clinton is also planning to campaign in Roanoke and Manassas on Sunday.
Republican John McCain is in Norfolk Friday. The U.S. Senator from Arizona is scheduled to hold a National Security Roundtable with Virginia Senator John Warner and others.Both also plan to hold rallies in Maryland on Monday.
Maryland elections officials say turnout could be as high as 35 percent next week, higher than usual for a presidential primary.
