Cocaine Disguised as Candy Nabbed

Loudoun County Sheriff's office found out about a large amount of cocaine was brought into the country from South America. The suspect in the case was allegedly using Gonzalez Services, a Sterling business, to smuggle the drugs. The business caters to the South American Hispanic community by importing items from Peru. Police believe the import business was unaware their services were being used to bring illegal drugs into the area.
Police arrested Miguel Andrade after he left Gonzalez Services and charged him with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. He's being held on an immigration detainer.The drug was being hidden as if they were pieces of candy. About 600 individually wrapped pieces of cocaine were found, according to police. The cocaine found has a street value of over $100,000.
Andrade was arrested on Thursday after he went to the business to pick up the items. He's being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
