A D.C. judge says a case can proceed against a woman found in her home with the decomposing bodies of her four daughters. Superior Court Judge Frederick Weisberg on Monday found probable cause to order 33-year-old Banita Jacks to remain held on murder charges while a grand jury investigates.

The bodies of the girls, ages 5 to 16, were found January 9 when U.S. marshals served an eviction notice at the family's apartment in southeast Washington.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion?The medical examiner's office has said there is evidence that the oldest girl had been stabbed and that the other three girls had markings on their necks and other signs of trauma.

A follow-up hearing is scheduled for April 4.
