I too had a similar experience with a wedding planner in Nantucket. Nicole Wheldon of Unique Nantucket was unorganized, unprofessional, and not very sharp even had the audacity to become verbally abusive. I learned you need to do your homework when hiring a planner. And ALWAYS check as many references as possible. Turns out even the vendors on the island were hearing horror stories from other brides as well.
