Montgomery County police say a man fleeing a routine traffic stop struck and killed a woman after running a red light.

Police spokesman Lieutenant Paul Starks says that shortly before midnight, an officer noticed a Hyundai driving on North Frederick Road without its lights on. The officer pulled the car over, but the driver sped away as the officer prepared to approach the car. Two blocks away, the Hyundai slammed into a car being driven by a 32-year-old Gaithersburg woman as it passed through an intersection. Beatrice Omoro was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Starks says police arrested the driver after he fled the scene on foot. Nineteen-year-old Anthony Kutten, of no fixed address, is being charged with vehicular manslaughter, felony hit and run and other charges.

Doublet Trouble
If your over the age of 18 in America, you are considerd an adult. But if you dont attend school and educate your self and would rather be a thug and hang out and be cool.....you would'nt know how to handle your self in civil matter. It has nothing to do with the cops. Thye are doing their job. Enforcing the law. They are an example of a person who took the time to STUDY and LEARN and became Civilized.

So this young man will get what he deserves for trying to be "HARD' and cool and bad. Because he will be doing hard time for man slaughter. What kind of career is that? What kind of retirement will he have? Man, this is the struggle we have in this country. We have lost control of our youth.
