President Bush, Dancing Machine
posted 11:36 am Thu February 21, 2008 - Monrovia, Liberia
President Bush strutted his stuff in the Liberian capital of Monrovia Thursday. The Commander-in-Chief is capping off a five-nation tour aimed at boosting U.S. ties with
Africa.
He met with Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, earlier. Mister Bush is the first U.S. leader in 30 years to visit Liberia.
The African nation is scarred by a 14-year old civil war that ended in 2003.
The president said the U.S. is fully committed to supporting the nation when it
comes to rebuilding.
The U.S. has contributed over $750 million to Liberia since the end of
that conflict.
