New Bill May Regulate Crisis Pregnancy Centers

Delegate Roger Manno of Montgomery County proposed the bill and Delegate Barbara Frush is a co-sponsor. She says people should receive complete, accurate information from medical facilities. A report from a pro-choice organization operating in Maryland says pregnancy centers did not discuss birth control at 11 of Maryland's crisis pregnancy centers.
The House Health and Government Operations committee has a hearing March 14, and the Senate Finance Committee will discuss the bill March 5.Not a member yet? Click Here to sign up.
