Around the world, lots of people eat termites. I have never tried them, but I understand termites are very nutritious, and especially when lightly fried, reasonably tasty.

They could be flying ants. Termites have two body parts, and flying ants have three body parts. On the positive side, they will not eat you, sting you or carry you away as in the movies. It is an annoyance, but it is just their life cycle. Spring time swarms are natural and expected whether you are in a project, apartment, house or farmhouse. Since they soon die anyway, spraying chemicals is just another, and probably worse, hazard to live with.

Perhaps a date for each building(s) could be targeted, and have the residents leave their home for a day while the process of extermination could be completed. The extermination package could include another service to clean up the dead insects. Insects and bed bugs are beginning to take over.

There are lots of good people who have to live in places like that and my heart goes out to them. How utterly disgusting and this is our government housing here. Shame, shame, shame. I feel so bad for these people forced to live in these conditions and the ones without heat and hot water etc. Our elected officials could do something about this if they weren't so concerned about their own interests and getting rich and richer.
