Something is n't right with this story. If they check, re-checked, double checked and re-checked the double check..how did no one see this boy. Sounds to me like this family just wanted to make the news...and why is suntie the only one talking here..where is his mother.

AMEN, & AMEN, thank God the reporters were there when this happened & 1 was a rescue worker. Thank Jesus for that, also I am sure the police are checking it to what happened, but the boy did say someone was in the house. Would love to see a program were someone would watch the kids until the parents got home & if they leave for a few minutes they should tell a neighbor to watch for the kids. This one was lucky, but there are some who are not & some being held [sad] in a stranger or friend house. Teachers & Pastors are even in to it, some for sex [well most these days]. I heard this on my scanner & there are so many missing kids, but people will [sad to say] do things after the fact. God bless you all!

I am to hear this kid is ok. Too many bad things are happening to our kids these days. You feel awful as a parent when you can't protect them.

I do hope the young boy will be fine. I also think that the family had a hand in this tragedy. That video of the family looked staged. I hope a full investigation is launched. As for Shady Grove and my sentiments of that hell hole my feelings are the same. I dealt with that slaughter house for 49 days when my dad was there and I know what I know. If those who want to risk life and limb want to go there.. fine with me but I wouldn't take a mangy dog there for help. ..and no.. I don't need counciling. Grow up.

I hope the media keeps us up to date on this story. I have my ideas, but would rather wait confirmation.

i can't stand to watch the video clipping anymore!! I guess i would have been overjoyed with the finding of a loved one, but the lady flying out of the house to the news crew, why not ruch to the phone and call 9-1-1??

Wowzeeeeers on Shady Grove! We should respect others comments on their experiences at hospitals, and other businesses, good or bad. We can all learn something here....like, people get different treatment for whatever reason, may it be insurance, race or income bracket????????????? Its true people and you all need to wake up. Respect others experiences and just maybe people can start making a difference. Stop being so selfish sheeesh.

Hard to say what happened to this child at this point; but I have to wonder... I guess it's possible that a stranger might find the crawl space and put the child there. But from what they showed on TV last night, it looked like it was an out-of-the-way part of the house, not easily noticeable. I also have to think that whatever happened, it involved someone who knew the child or at least someone who knew the house.

The family obviously did this. They claim the police and family searched the crawl space 5 times yet, there he turns p later, myseriously. With a shoe string wrapped around his neck, and paper stuffed in his mouth? Sounds like a attempt to be rid of the boy, then they got cold feet and "found" him. The truth will come out soon.

Something is not right here. The news reported tonight that 3 police officers and a family member searched this area and found nothing. Now all of a sudden he is found where they searched? I also don't understand why he couldn't make noises, if he was really there when the house was searched.

I can pray for Kathy O Grady if she , or her family goes to Shady Grave for care. They almost killed me there once, my husband was released after surgery because although the staff said he should be admitted they had no room. My stepson , who is a retired Master Firefighter, took a 2 yr old there alive & the child died because the dr said the child did not need a trach.

Hello Prettyboy, I am very sorry about the loss of your grandmother. This is obviously a very tough situation for you to deal with emotionally. However, not everyone feels the same way that you do. Many, many people have had very positive experiences at Shady Grove. I encourage you, for your own sake, to perhaps get some counseling or talk to someone about your feelings.

I do not think it is fair for you to label an entire organization due to your own negative experience.

I myself have sought treatment there on numerous ocassions and have had wonderful experiences.

I thought Prettyboy was an adult - granted not too bright but he must be a child since Children's Hospital is his choice. I don't understand why he even had to bring something that stupid up. Just a very negative person. Pach - I have heard different versions too but the important one is he was found safe and I bet we will hear the whole story about his condition when found as Dave Statter was there and worked with him until the EMT got there.

Kathy O Grady you obviously don't KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. Without getting into a verbal battle of words I lost my grandmother there due to bad treatment with her there. She went in there at 63 with a broken hip and died two days later. My dad laid in that hospital bed for 49 days and I was there each and everyday and I can shout it to the world that this place is not fit for humans. One doctor even used his cell phone in the ICU rooms and when one of the ladies at the Reception Desk confronted the doctor he actually mouthed off to her stating he was a doctor. Cell phones disrupt the heart machine monitors and gives nurses false readings. I also I witnessed many other problems associated with this place and if you want to go there for treatment or take your kids there that's fine and dandy with me. I even had a note in my car right after the death of my dad that if I am in an accident NOT to take me to this hell hole.. each his own but it's no wonder to me that this place has been sued over and over again. I won't go there or take my family.. do as you please. I could actually write a book on this place and none of it is positive.

I hope this boy was taken to Shady Grove! Shady Grove is a WONDERFUL hospital!!! You CLEARLY do not know what you are talking about. I would NEVER hesitate to take myself OR my loved ones to Shady Grove!!

Another news site said that the child was found bound and gagged in the crawl space- definitely a lot more to this story, poor kid.

The child was in a crawl space, in shock? I'm glad they found him ok, but I'd say something happened that was not good......

Well I am hoping that he will make a speedy recovery. This makes no sense. Why on earth hadn't he been found and how did he get injured. It does sound like foul play at some level. I just hope he's not taken to Shady Grove. I call that place Shady Grave because of all I know who entered there healthy and ended up dead. Children's Hospital will always be my choice should I need a facility. I wouldn't take my dog to that hell hole.

I hope and pray that this young man will be found safe, sound, and SOON.
