Dulles International Airport (web | news) - Two Wizards players are in hot water after getting reckless driving tickets in Virginia.

According to Airports Authority Police, vehicles driven by center Javale McGee and guard Nick Young were pulled over January 1 along the access road that leads to Dulles International Airport.

Authorities won't say how fast the players were going, but it was apparently fast enough to warrant reckless driving charges. Under Virginia law, you can be charged with reckless driving for going more than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit, for driving more than 80 miles an hour, for racing, or for driving in a manner that endangers life, limb or property.

The Wizards are not commenting on the charges. They have confirmed that McGee and Young were heading to Dulles that day to catch the team flight to a game the following day in Boston.

in 2007, Nick Young was featured in a documentary that detailed the hoop star's struggles off the court prior to making it in the NBA.

If convicted, the maximum penalty for reckless driving is one year in jail, a $2,500 fine and the loss of one's license for six months.

The team has not taken any action against the players. Their next court date is February 26.
