A Prince William County (web|news) middle school teacher has been charged with producing child pornography after authorities say they discovered he was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

Fifty-three-year-old John B. Shulick of Catlett - a teacher at Bull Run Middle School - was arrested Friday and charged in U.S. District Court in Alexandria (web|news) .

In court documents, police say they discovered videos on Shulick's computer in which he and the 16-year-old Fairfax girl engaged in sex acts. They also found other images of child pornography on his computer.

Police say the Shulick met the girl on the Internet. She admitted to her parents that she was having sex with Shulick after the mother's boyfriend found nude pictures of her on her cell phone, which she got from Shulick, according to court documents.

The 16-year-old girl told detectives she met Shulick about six months ago on a social website catering to people with sexual fetishes including bondage and sadistic activity.

The court documents stated how the teacher allegedly wanted the teen to only refer to him as "daddy."
