ABC 7 News - Police Identify Victim of Fatal Accident

Police have identified the fatality of an early morning accident in Prince George's County.

Vincent Charles Davis, 48, was killed around 2 a.m. on Sunday when his car was struck in the 400 block of Jade Leaf Avenue in Seat Pleasant, Md.

Davis is from the 10100 block of Campus Way South in Upper Marlboro and was the only person in the car.

According to police, the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

Police say they do not have a description of the other driver and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to please come forward.

According to Davis' two children, Mr. Davis was well liked in the neighborhood and a well known carpet installer. He went to high school across the street from where the accident happened.
