(Sports Network) - In his hometown, Roy Jones Jr. won the North American Boxing Association's vacant light heavyweight title with a knockout victory over Omar Sheika.
The 40-year-old Jones (53-5, 39 KOs) won in a fifth round technical knockout decision after Sheika was cut over the right eye. It was the first fight in Pensacola for the former four-division world champion Jones in 10 years.
