Young Girl Dies in House Fire

A five-year-old girl is dead and four people hurt after a fire in a Southeast D.C. home early Saturday morning. D.C. police spokesman Sergeant Joe Gentile says that 5-year-old Asia Sutton was found by firefighters in the second floor bedroom of the home in the 3400 block of Minnesota Street Southeast.

Two family members had burns and two others suffered from smoke inhalation. None appear to have life-threatening injuries.
