An investigation has been launched into how firefighters were sent to the wrong address for a fire that killed a five-year-old girl Saturday.
Carrie Brooks, a spokeswoman for Mayor Fenty, says that a dispatcher sent firefighters to an address a few blocks away after a caller reported an incorrect street.
Fire crews were able to arrive at the correct address for the duplex on Minnesota Street within five minutes of the call.

Five-year-old Asia Sutton was found lifeless by firefighters on the second-floor. Her parents and her 19-year-old sister were injured when they jumped out of second-floor windows.
Investigators are calling it an electrical fire and say they haven't been able to find any working smoking alarms in the building.
The Office of Unified Communications, which handles 911 calls, and the D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department are investigating the response.
