Two men riding ATVs in a wooded area of Clinton were stabbed Tuesday night. One of the men died.

Fire officials say they were called around 8 p.m. to the wooded area near the intersection of Surratts and Brandywine roads.

Authorities said two men were riding ATVs in the woods when they were stabbed and apparently robbed. Fire officials said one man died on scene and another man in his 20s was flown to an area trauma center.

Police gave no motive for the attack. Investigators say the victims' all-terrain vehicles were found nearby.

Police say they do not have any suspects at this time.

Authorities also said a responding police cruiser crashed in the 9200 block of Piscataway Road. The officer was flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
