Metro is holding auditions next week for D.C. performers to showcase their talents at select Metrorail station entrances this year.
This is the second season of MetroPerforms!, a joint effort by Metro and the D.C. Arts Commission to find acts to perform at city subway stations.
Auditions will take place May 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. and May 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Metro Headquarters, on 600 Fifth Street in northwest Washington.
Metro officials have asked would-be performers to provide a photograph and a one-page biography or resume when they come in to audition.
Selected artists will perform from late spring to late fall and again during the holiday season.
