BETHESDA, Md. - More than a billion iPhone applications are available to download -- from a program that can get you out of a bad date to one that can tell you what song is playing on the radio.
ABC 7/NewsChannel 8 reporter Kris Van Cleave combed through the "app store" to find some of the more unusual offerings.
Among the 37,000 iPhone apps are bikini-clad babes at the beach.
Hot for apps is Eric Litman, CEO of Medialets which tracks app usage. "This isn't really a phone anymore -- this is a computer that happens to make phone calls," said Litman.
There's anti-mosquito which Litman says "emits a sound that mosquitoes hate."

A Smart HUD
Woo Button
Harmonica
Dating DNA
Escape Call
Driving at night? A Smart Hud turns the iPhone into a heads-up display.
"It shows everything on the phone in reverse so when it reflects off the windshield, you see the speed, current position, direction and distance to the next red light camera," noted Litman.
Then there's the bump app. "All we have to do is go like this, my contact information will be in your phone, your info will be in my phone," said Shah Munir, an iPhone user.
That app could work well with Dating DNA and its match radar telling users which single is closest. And if that date doesn't quite work out, there's an app for that.
"You like open up the photo, click on it and you can start burning it -- it's a little strange," said Heather Barnes, an iPhone user.
iPhone user Amara Perez has a bad date escape call. Her iPhone will pretend one of her friends is calling.
Among the most popular current iPhone apps is ABC 7's weather partner Weather Bug.
