METRO HAS A BIG PROBLEM TONIGHT.

AND SEVEN ON YOUR SIDE HAS THE VIDEO TO PROVE IT.

NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE WE'VE EXPOSED METRO BUS DRIVERS BREAKING THE RULES OF THE ROAD.

BUT THE MESSAGE ISN'T SINKING IN.

ROSS MCLAUGHLIN IS HERE LIVE WITH THE EVIDENCE.

Ross McLaughlin: 
HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS? CATCHING METRO BUSES RUNNING RED LIGHTS, SPEEDING AND SHOWING GENERAL DISREGARD FOR THE RULES OF THE ROAD. AN ALEXANDRIA MAN WHO'S WIFE WAS STRUCK AND KILLED SAYS KEEP IT UP UNTIL THE MESSAGE IS DELIVERED LOUD AND CLEAR.

Story:
Ross:"Right there 30 he's going 42 look at that."

Photographer: "Rolling stop."

Ross:"Ah look at that."

Man:"It's not even yellow it's red."

WORD IS OUT.

Man: "Par for the course, they say one thing and do another."

METRO IS NOT CRACKING DOWN. AND WE'RE TELLING EVERYONE.

Man:"Again. Dang!"

Woman 2: "Huh!

Photographer:"Yellow"

Ross and Photographer: "Red."

Woman:"They're gonna kill people"

WHICH IS WHY WE'RE OUT HERE.

Ross: "When you see something like that what goes through your mind?"

Greg Schoenborn:"My wife being killed by a bus."

GREG SCHOENBORN'S WIFE MARTHA AND THEIR FRIEND SALLY MCGHEE DIED FEBRUARY 14TH. METRO PROMISED TO CRACK DOWN BUT 2 MONTHS LATER WE CATCH DRIVERS ON TAPE..WATCH BUS AFTER BUS

Photographer:"Ah that one's rolling through big time."

ROLLING THROUGH STOP SIGNS..IN FACT WE SAW 17 DO IT.

AND RED LIGHT RUNNING?

Ross:"He didn't just do that?"

JUST LOOK AT THIS DRIVER SLOWLY APPROACHING THE INTERSECTION...THE LIGHT IS ALREADY YELLOW. PEOPLE ARE WAITING TO CROSS AND STILL..

Ross:"He's going through it?"

RIGHT THROUGH THE RED LIGHT. GREG CAN'T BELIEVE IT.

Greg Schoenborn:"chokes up"

NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT 10 TIMES WE CAUGHT BUSES RUNNING RED LIGHTS.

Ross: "You went right through the red light. Why did you do that?"

Driver:"You'd have to talk to my supervisor about that."

Ross:"I'm talking to you."

Driver:"I have to go sir."

Ross:"We see you got to go but you don't have to go through red lights."

THE DRIVERS MAY NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT...

Ross:"You could have stopped at the yellow but instead you proceeded and it turned red when you went through the intersection."

Ross:"Whoa Whoa."

GREG SAYS THEY DON'T NEED TO SAY A THING.

Greg Schoenborn: "I think the video speaks for itself."

Ross McLaughlin:
METRO IS STILL TRYING TO GET IT'S ACT TOGETHER TO CRACK DOWN ON BUS DRIVERS BREAKING THE RULES AS FOR THE BUS DRIVER'S UNION THEY DON'T CONDONE THE ACTION BUT LISTEN TO THIS.

Jackie Lynn Jeter/Transit Union President: "I would hope even if you see someone doing an unsafe act they would do so as safely as they can."
