D.C. firefighters are on the scene of an apparent spill of a toxic industrial floor stripper inside a Northwest Washington building.
D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Alan Etter says about 50 people are complaining of respiratory problems after the incident. Etter says fire crews have evacuated the partly residential, three-story building.
It happened about 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2,400 block of 17th Street, Northwest.
