Police have arrested a Fairfax County (web|news) teacher after she attempted to buy methamphetamine.
Late Thursday night, officers noticed the 32-year-old, Rachel Smith sitting inside a parked vehicle in the Annandale area. After further investigation, it was revealed that the woman was allegedly trying to buy meth.
She was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Smith was employed by Fairfax County Schools in 1999 to 2005 and was rehired in 2007 and works as a teacher at Chantilly High School.
