CULPEPER CO. SCHOOLS: CLOSED
CULPEPER CO. CHILD CARE: OPEN 1.5 HOURS LATE
FAUQUIER CO. SCHOOLS: CLOSED
FAUQUIER CO. GOVERNMENT: OPEN 2 HOURS LATE
MIDLAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY: CLOSED
NEW LIFE WORSHIP CENTER ACADEMY: CLOSED
ST LUKE'S LUTHERN SCHOOL (CULPEPER): CLOSED

Every TV Station sensationalizes the weather and flooding. In Old Town Alexandria one time there was just a tiny bit of water that came up King Street to the first intersection. The water was only about three quarters of an inch deep so I could walk through it without getting my feet wet. All the news stations were filming sandbags that owners had set out plus they were setting up cameras to get the best angle to make that little patch of water look like something major.
