Police Identify Man Shot to Death in Columbia

Howard County police have identified a man shot to death in Columbia as 23-year-old Jason Batts.
The Columbia resident was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say nearby officers and several residents heard the shots being fired.
Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information. So far they have no suspects or motive.
