The National Museum of Crime and Punishment opens in the District next Friday.
It's the latest in a series of pricey new attractions in Washington. Admission will cost $18 for adults and $15 for children. But museum owner John Morgan says he doesn't think tourists will hesitate to shell out that kind of money for the unique, interactive experience.
For example, in a video firearms simulation, participants search a house until they come to face-to-face with someone pointing a gun at them. In another exhibit, visitors can perform a mock autopsy on a dummy.
