The Blue Angels performed above Severn River giving spectators views of high-speed aerobatic maneuvers.
Everything in Annapolis basically came to a halt Wednesday when the famous Blue Angels, known for their choreographed aerobatic skills, performed in front of hundreds.
"I'm not a flag-waiver or anything like that, but you get the goosebumps and everything," said Annapolis resident Paula Lucas, "I'm proud to be an American."
Two Naval Academy graduates were new to the team, Lt. Frank Weisser and Lt. Cmdr. Mark E. Lambert. Weisser, graduated in 2000 and was the pilot and narrator for No. 7. Lambert, class of 1996, was the Blue Angels' Flight Surgeon.
The crowds were able to view the show from Ingram Field, portions of Farragut Field and Hospital Point on the Naval Academy grounds.
"I feel very patriotic when I see them. I think 'boy, we got something going on here in the United States of America' when I see them,' said Janice Pettigrew.
