A 16-month old boy is recovering after a frightening pit bull attack, requiring reconstructive surgery.

The little boy is badly scarred. It took 90 stitches to close the wounds on his face. His mother who watched the attack as she ran to her child's aid says the scene repeats over and over in her head.

Last week while playing with his Mom outside their King George home Jacob ran over to the neighbors dog -- a dog the Brady's say Jacob and all the other children in their neighborhood regularly played with.

The dog the Bradys' say knocked Jacob down and repeatedly bit the little boy's face.

They say they have no ill will toward the owners of the dog. They just want other parents to know a pitbull or any other dog can suddenly, unexpectedly turn violent.

The dog is in the custody of county animal control officers until they determine whether or not it should be euthanized.
